Re-registration of SIM card to end this month

The SIM card re-registration will finally come to an end on the 31st of March. Have you registered your SIM card? if no, kindly dial *404# to start the process by linking your SIM card to your Ghana card.
The National Communications Authority (NCA) in their previous post stated that the SIM re-registration exercise will finally come to an end on 31st March. In an interview made by TheGhanaTech.com, most people were pleading to the Government of Ghana to extend the deadline for the re-registration.
According to the National Communications Authority, almost half of the population of the country has gone through the full process of SIM card re-registration. TheGhanaTech.com is urging everyone in the country to re-register their SIM card before the date comes to an end.
We are once again going to show you how you can start with the re-registration of your SIM card with your Ghana card via shortcode if you haven’t gone through the steps for the registration. Kindly follow the steps below to complete the 1st process of SIM card registration.
How to re-register your SIM Card with Ghana Card via USSD
- On your phone, dail *404#
- Select option 1 (Register)
- Enter your Ghana Card PIN
- Now Confirm Ghana Card PIN
- Enter your Surname on the Ghana Card
- Enter your First name(s) on the Ghana Card
- Enter your Date of Birth in this format (DDMMYYYY)
- Enter your sex ( Male or Female)
- Now confirm your details
- Submits details provided after confirmation
The final process of the SIM card re-registration is the biometric process. With this process, you will have to go to the nearest office of your network service provider (MTN, AirtelTigo, Vodafone) to complete the registration process. The process is very simple and fast.
