How to send money with Absa Hello Money

Absa Ghana has introduced the mobile banking system ”Hello Money” for its customers to make a transaction from their bank account to their MoMo wallet. We’ll in this post show you how to send money with Absa Hello Money.

How to register
Note: In this tutorial, we will show you how to register and do these transactions and more with the use of the Hello Money (Only for Absa Customers)
- Dial *895#
- Select 1 (self-registration)
- Enter branch name or code
- Select 1 to confirm branch
- Enter account number without the branch code
- Select option 1 to accept the terms and conditions
- Write out your DOB in the format YYYYMMDD and confirm the digit for a specific position as requested by the system. e.g. 4th and 7th position of your date of birth
- Confirm debit card number
- Enter debit card expiry date on your debit card
- You will receive a 4-digit temporal PIN. Dial *895# to change your PIN

How to Send money with Hello Money
- Dial *895#
- Select ‘Cardless Withdrawal (CashSend)’,
- Enter recipient’s mobile number (this is mandatory)
- Enter the amount
- Select the account number to be debited
- Create a 4-digit custom PIN for the transaction
- Confirm PIN and Share with the recipient
- Submit and pick voucher details and PIN on the confirmation screen
- Pick voucher ID and your 4-digit PIN for Hello Money
- Enter recipient’s mobile number (this is mandatory)
- Confirm the transaction, and receive a confirmation note of the transaction. An SMS will be sent to the number entered at step 10 with the details of the voucher.
- Send the PIN separately to the recipient for security reasons.
