Ghana Revenue Authority has finally gone cashless and digitalized. GRA urges all domestic taxpayers to use the shortcode for the payments of their taxes. This shortcode can be used on all networks.
Ghana Revenue Authority in their previous announcement which was sighted by TheGhanaTech.com, GRA has gone cashless meaning there is no need for you to visit the tax office for payment because they have stopped accepting cheques and cash.
The Authority decided to go cashless also to make payment so easy with the use of digitalization. This e-payment method is an end-to-end system that can be used by all taxpayers from anywhere around the country. And also to improve the ease of doing business and tax compliance.
How to pay your GRA TAXES with your Mobile phone by the use of a shortcode
- On your mobile phone, kindly dial *222#
- A screen will pop up showing the Ghana.GOV payments option
- Select option 3 (GRA)
- Now choose the options and follow the prompt
Note: There is a limit on how much can be paid per transaction per day. MTN – Ghc 5,000 and Vodafone/AirtelTigo – Ghc 2,000
