Do you know that Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) contributions can be checked online with a few steps? Every worker in the country is expected to enjoy a special vacation and also continues his or her project after he or she has gone to retirement.
As a Ghanaian, the best way for you to enjoy your vacation when you are on pension is for you to do a regular contribution for about 15 years (180 months). This contribution you do at SSNIT gives you live time payment when you redraw from work as a pensioner.
Social Security and National Insurance Trust is an agency for the government of Ghana. Every employer must contribute the payment of SSNIT to his or her employee whether the company is public or private. The contribution made into your Social Security and National Insurance Trust account is what you are going to be given when you come on pension with an interest.
